Fleet

The Rig

The Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman 23 is the dream platform for fly and light tackle fishing and was designed for fishing the Cape Lookout area specifically. The boat is economical to run, and comfortably handles larger groups of anglers. While all the Cape Fisherman are designed for near-shore fishing, the 23′ is large enough to go offshore on nicer days. It has plenty of freeboard and flare to keep you safe and dry.

Special equipment

The boat is outfitted with a half tower to help the captain give anglers a sight fishing advantage which could mean the difference between a good day and a fantastic day.

other equipment notes

The boat has flip out jig/fly tray for quick access and a live well for live chum or live bait fishing. A trolling motor can be added to the boat if Jetty or wreck fishing is on the menu. Drift socks are carried for slowing the drift in a chumming situation.
